themightybee: (The Office - Working)
joebidensteeth.com

I love the internet. ♥

I worked last night, which was kind of weird. I never work Saturday nights, and I was totally unprepared for how busy it was. It's hard to break a sweat when you're surrounded by ice cream, but I managed to do it within an hour of getting there. Intense!

Apparently, someone got fired, which is why I was called in. Luckily, I won't have to work anymore Saturdays, but I did pick up a third night. I'll be working Wednesday nights. By myself. It's a little nerve-wracking to know that it's all going to be up to me to close the store on my own, but I think I'm ready for it. After all, this is the sort of responsibility I've been waiting for. I've always been dependent on other people. Now is my chance to prove to myself that I can be Miss Independent. Wish me luck!

LOL. I found this (locked) post at [livejournal.com profile] cheap_knockoffs, accusing me of copying a batch of icons by [livejournal.com profile] iwant_sprinkles.

LMAO.

Yes, I'm totally going to rip off the icons of someone on my friends list, advertise them to said friends list and fuck all if she notices. I am that stupid. Please. I wish I could make icons that are half the quality of hers. She's a graphics genius.

Clearly, an uncreative icon cropper = EVIL COPYCAT.

Again, I say LMAO.

ETA - I do want to apologize to [livejournal.com profile] iwant_sprinkles. I'm sorry if you ever thought I was plagiarizing. I promise the similarities were unintentional.
themightybee: (Heroes - Nathan Is A Very Pretty Man)
I left these for someone else, but I thought I'd post them here as well. For all of you who are having a hard time deciding who you want to vote for, here are a few links that are excellent for research.

On The Issues - It's tagline says it all: "Every political leader on every issue." It also includes state and federal officeholders, should you want to research your local elections.

2decide.com's election table - an easy-to-read chart on the candidate's positions on important political issues

ProCon.org - It lists candidates alphabetically or by the issues.

Five Thirty Eight - From the website's FAQ: "What is the mission of this website? Most broadly, to accumulate and analyze polling and political data in way that is informed, accurate and attractive. Most narrowly, to give you the best possible objective assessment of the likely outcome of upcoming elections."

Whoever your candidate is, know that it's awesome you're declaring your vote. Too many people opt out of having their voice heard, and I think that's a shame.

Using your browser URL history to estimate gender!

Likelihood of you being FEMALE is 100%
Likelihood of you being MALE is 0%

It's good to finally know.

I just made a boatload of icons (boatload, of course, being the proper measurement for "43") from "Dinner Party" and I'm actually kind of in love with the coloring.

Preview:

If you love me, you'll check out the rest here @ [livejournal.com profile] living_icons (and maybe friend it because it's a lonely icon journal *tear*).

Also, I made my first post ever over at ONTD. I posted scans of Tina Fey making me gay in Entertainment Weekly. I love her, damn it.
themightybee: (JKras - Moving Picture Star)
JKras was on Rachael Ray this morning, looking disgustingly hot in what I'm pretty sure is my pink shirt...

...and mentioned that the spin-off for The Office is more of a "From the guys who brought you The Office" sort of deal. That makes me super happy; although, I was really starting to look forward to the antics of The Office: SVUtica.

Also, if you're not a member of [livejournal.com profile] office_meta you really should be. I love it more than chocolate turtles (of course, if I'm being honest, I'm not sure I've ever actually eaten a chocolate turtle).

ETA - [livejournal.com profile] iwant_sprinkles posted the ADORABLEST videos of Steve and John with Angela. Watch them here @ [livejournal.com profile] angela_kinsey. *pimps*
themightybee: (HIMYM - BroTP!)
Being rick-rolled once was funny. The latter 17 instances, however, were exponentially less amusing. I thought I had a more creative flist! Tsk, tsk.

I finally watched HIMYM )

I finished In Treatment as well. I've got so much to say about it, but all I can think of, at this point, is DAYUM.

Also, Garfield Minus Garfield is still one of the few things on the internet that makes me literally LOL, despite no longer being the internet meme du jour.

From a gigasize.com download page:

Ummm...WHAT?
themightybee: (Blake - He's Kind Of My Daddy)
GIVE A HOOT.
Buy Blake Lewis's new single on iTunes

Also, I finished my layout. There's still something I want to try but I've got 30 minutes until I leave for work and I haven't even tried to start getting ready. Oops?

IT'S FINALS WEEK. Kiss my sanity goodbye, babies.
themightybee: (Sheedy - Comfy and Cozy)
The header clearly still needs some work, but I am fiercely loving my new layout.

HAPPY FUCKING HOLIDAYS, BITCHES.
themightybee: (30 Rock - Do It For Kenneth!)
01. I have the day off and it's raining and I'm without a car. Incredibly, I'm in quite the chipper mood.

02. I made icons in support of the WGA Strike here and now I'm taking requests for more here.

03. Hey, paid users - are you bitches ready for COMMENT EDITING?
themightybee: (TCR - Sexcellent)
I am officially America, bitches. (And so can you!)

Also, why was this deleted scene not in "Dunder Mifflin Infinity"? If there's one thing this season has been missing, it's the closeted BFFness of Jim and Dwight.
themightybee: (The Office - YEEEEEAH!)
To the members of the Sarah Bee Army of Champions -

Are you ready to push paper at DM Woonsocket?! We made the list, bitches!
themightybee: (Default)
Here is my last attempt at scoring any missing members of the Sarah Bee Army of Champions. Shit, I don't even care if you participate; just sign up so I'll have the right number of employees, lol.

*bats lashes*
themightybee: (The Office - ...the FUCK?!)
What is this fuckery?

Where's my branch? I know I secured at least 15 employees? Did I miscount? What the hell?

Fucking WAH. :(
themightybee: (The Office - The Beer Me Team)
The Sarah Bee Army of Champions is still short on its 15-employee minimum. I really want to manage a branch for The Office's online competition that I know nothing about, so if you want to pimp this post to friends who haven't signed up yet, feel free. Beer me some employees!

Woonsocket's a great place for Dunder Mifflin. It's full of history and almost never floods. Also? No bears.
themightybee: (Default)
I signed up to be the regional manager for Dunder Mifflin's Woonsocket, RI branch on DMI. [livejournal.com profile] expatiates is my trusty Assistant to the Regional Manager. Why wouldnt you want to join?

In order to confirm your branch selection you must hire a minimum of fifteen (15) employees. Here is your unique Branch Hiring Code that you can give to prospective employees in order to hire them directly for your branch:

m3afa8qcvr

IMPORTANT: Make sure your prospective employees choose the same branch city as you!

Seeing as I'm probably the only Office fan in RI, I don't think there will be too much competition. Still, feel free to apply for my branch with the code above.

Bold and gruntled employees welcome!
themightybee: (The Office - Bored To Death)
Today's a big day for me. I'm officially a "loyal viewer" at TWoP. Let's ignore the fact that it took me more than 8 months to get there.

*gives self gold star*

FriendSpaceBook continues to be my favorite time-sucker. Meanwhile, I still haven't mustered enough creativity to create a mock profile of my own. Well, I did but someone got to Stephen Colbert before I could. Bastards. I bet they don't have a WristStrong bracelet on back order!
