I have a bad habit of clapping along to Coldplay's "Lost!" while I'm driving. I really need to stop doing that.

Last night, I went over everything I need to know so I can successfully close the store on Wednesday. I feel fully prepared which helps with the anxiety. Of course, I'm still a little nervous, but I think I'll be okay.

One thing I'll never get used to, working at a casino, is the redirected anger patrons display. I'm sorry you lost a bunch of money, but don't take it out on us because you have to pay $3.19 for a small ice cream cone. We're not the ones who blew $100 of your money. It's half infuriated, half hilarious. It's the perils of addiction, I guess.

I have the day off from work and school tomorrow. I believe I'll spend my vacation day SLEEPING. \o/

Haha, working at that casino dealing with misplaced anger sounds similar in some respects to working at an amusement park. They pay exorbitant sums of money on parking, admission, food, games, and souvenirs, so suddenly when I have to inform them they can't bring their bag or stuffed game prize or beverage on the ride it's my fault they spent so much money and should be allowed to carry whatever they want on the ride, safety rules be damned!

I was nervous the first time I had to close the ride all my lonesome as well. But I took it slow and triple-checked everything and it was fine. You'll be splendid, I'm sure!

Someday I plan to be all up in your casino, eating your ice cream.

That said, I can understand the anxiety feeling. I felt that way at my first parent teacher conference.

LOL do people really get mad at you for them losing money? I find that amusing, but it makes sense.
