I realize my last entry, posted all of ten minutes ago, centered on books, but I didn't want this to get lost in my rage.
My modern lit class is nothing but reading assignments, and since I've felt lost since finishing Middlesex (which I have a lot to say about at a later time), I am LOVING the syllabus.
I picked up the books I'd needand my mommy paid for them, so here's what I'll be working on until December:
My first assignment is to read six of the Ernest Hemingway short stories. I love love love this class.

Date: 2008-09-03 10:41 pm (UTC)I was trying to edit my comment to say those are some "wonderful writers"! I enjoy many of those writers but there are several books on your syllabus that I haven't had a chance to read yet. My personal reading list is absurd!
