It kind of bums me out that Jim didn't propose to Pam, but it didn't ruin the episode for me AT ALL. Reading various other boards, it seems most other people don't agree. Apparently, Jim not proposing to Pam means that it was the worst. episode. ever, and I think it's sad because they're disregarding a solid hour of good comedy. I actually feel like some of them need to be put on suicide/homicide watch. Shippers are a frightening bunch. That being said...

I'm only sad that Jim didn't propose to Pam because, in the long run, it's just going to make Pam think that he's not really growing as a person and it's going to seriously fuck up their relationship in a way that can't be fixed super-easily. She's going to go to New York thinking that he loves her less than he really does. So that blows.

My major disappointment of the night is that Jan is back. Why has she not died a comical death yet? Can't her implants explode and kill her? That'd be hilarious and make her never, ever come back to fuck with me shipping Michael with someone really really hard what the hell.

That, and Andy showing up for his only lines in the entire episode to be to ruin what would have been a really good moment. And for Angela to say yes. I really hate that relationship. Andy is an idiot and I feel terrible for him, and Angela is a bitch and I just want her to be back with Dwight. (So the last thirty seconds were like "OMFG YES." But the rest was annoying.)

Really, the Jim/Pam thing is only going to bum me out in the long run. It wasn't the worst part of the night.
