You know, I haven't even watched American Idol this season. Anything I have seen has been through streaming video and even that I haven't watched much of. I really just don't care.

But. You guys. David Cook (and his giant baby skull - wtf was that, btw?!) really really ridiculously awesome. It should come as a surprise to no one that it was expatiates who first pointed me in his direction (thnx, bb!) and she was right in doing so. I admit he;s vaguely Daughtry-esque, but he doesn't have a big dumb bald head and he's barely got an 1/8th of his cockiness.

Oh, hey! Who's up for a flashback of the greatest. idol moment. EVER.?

Anyway.

I really enjoy me some dcook (or dcock, as I like to say - I CALL COPYRIGHT!) and I just saw his performance of "Billie Jean" and, as you can all tell, it's woken me up out of my usual morning coma. And that's kind of hilarious, because I was already asleep and on my fifth dream when it actually aired!

I usually hate the mainstream big arena rock scene or whatever, but I wanna hit that shit like the hammer of God.

David Cook: FUCK YEAH. (Apparently, I feel the same way about parentheticals. Speaking of...)

(I know there are some of you that don't like dcook and/or Idol and general and all that it stands for blah blah blah and that's fine. Knowing that I know that, though, you should have no reason to comment here to tell me how you feel...because I know! You see what I'm getting at?)

Aw - this performance is all over my friends list and I want to watch it! But the ep is sitting on my DVR at home and I want to see it on my big tv since it is supposed to be so awesome. I should go home early.
