A Whole Bunch of Something New

themightybeeHere are some new things I've been trying. I didn't think each item deserved its own individual post (except for one thing which, honestly, I'm not done raving about), so here are six awesome things that I've tried and loved.
01. Crystal Light On-The-Go (Raspberry Lemonade) - $2.99 (10-count pack)

mindyephron, and I'm in love. I never drank nearly enough water (the taste of it reminds me of all the gross medicine I had to wash down as a kid), but now I'm downing at least three 16-ounce bottles worth a day. The Raspberry Ice is another great flavor, but the lemonade is my favorite.
02. Hot Chocolate Pop-Tarts - $2.50 (8-count box)
I really shouldn't be eating these because I have an apparent chocolate allergy, but they're so delicious I can't help myself! I haven't tried them toasted (I rarely do), but there's a definite hot cocoa taste. Unlike most other Pop-Tart flavors, the flavor isn't masked by an overly-sugared filling.
03. Stephen Colbert's Americone Dreams - $3.50
Sweet & Sour Jesus, this ice cream is amazing! I know I've already made a post about it (and, incidentally, if you search "americone dreams" on Google, you'll find that post on the bottom of the first results page), but it's so good I had to mention it again. My mom tried it and wasn't too impressed, so, naturally, I contacted the Department of Homeland Security. It's my civic duty.
04. Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads - $6.99 (28 pads)
These are perfect for my chocolate-induced breakouts. I've been using them for a month now, and while they haven't completely cleared my face of acne, there's a noticeable improvement. My cheeks are no longer blotchy and red, and my skin feels less oily, especially in the nose and brow area.
05. Secret Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant - $8.99
I sweat like a pig. There's no getting around it. I've got the trashed shirts with hideous under-arm stains to prove it. (Ever wonder why I wear black do damn often?) Thankfully, Secret came along and offered the world, and my pits, its services. This stuff works like a charm. You put it on at night, and you're protected the entire next day. It's especially great for the summer!
06. Eddie Bauer Backpack - $34.99
I bought this for when my mom and I went to Boston last month. I'm not typically a backpack person; I prefer messenger bags. I'm really glad I bought this, though, because it's designed for a heavy load. The straps, along with some padding on the back, are filled with silicone beads, which relieves stress on your back and shoulders. Also, there's a top pocket that stores your iPod and a hole to fit your headphones through.
