dvr killed the vhs star.

Here's my sad little excuse for a TV schedule. I'm not a big TV girl, so it's less than impressive. I'm trying out a couple of dramas this season, and we all know how I feel about dramas. (If you don't know...I hate them.)

Most of these will be DVR'd because I'm an old lady who likes her sleep. Also, there's a good chance I'll drop half these shows due to shear laziness. Me FTW!

Monday
8:00 - Chuck
9:00 - Heroes (OMG NEED NOW.)

Tuesday
I have absolutely no interest in anything on Tuesday night. Laaaame.

Wednesday - DVR'd due to school
8:00 - Pushing Daisies
9:00 - Private Practice (probably only the first episode though)
10:00 - Dirty Sexy Money (Do me, Peter Krause!)

Thursday - DVR'd due to school
8:00 - Ugly Betty
8:30 - 30 Rock
9:00 - The Office (OMG NEED NOOOW.)

Friday
9:00 - Women's Murder Club (Mama Bee will be watching this, so I'm sure I'll sit down a time or two and watch)

Also, I've decided to torrent Mad Men because I've heard amazing things about it.

Dude, Ugly Betty is pretty much the greatest show ever besides The Office and Monk. You'll be lost though if you haven't seen season 1.

I'm not even going to bother with Private Practice. They tried to weave it into an episode of Grey's Anatomy once and it totally sucked. Although the guy from Prison Break and the girl from NYPD Blue were pretty good, but everyone else sucked.

And for Tuesdays, have you ever tried Boston Legal? It's hilarious. The characters get on their soap boxes a little too often, but lately they've toned that down (thank goodness). But I love that show. James Spader = yummy.

I think I'm going to check out Pushing Daisies too, if I remember to. It looks pretty interesting. And last night I watched Gossip Girl and totally loved it, which is embarassing since it's a teenage angst guilty pleasure show.

I'm pretty much sticking with The Office as my only real show this year, other than Saturday Night Live (my default for nearly ten years, ohmigodi'mold).

Except...for Chuck. My God, I already love that show and I've only seen the pilot. It's just fantastic. FANTASTIC.

Mad Men is fantastic, I'm glad your giving it a chance. You'll have to let me know what you think about it.
