The American Family Association has just launched a letter and call-in campaign to have the Luke/Noah storyline removed from the day time soap opera As the World Turns.

Procter & Gamble has set up a 1-800 number to poll responses.

The number is 1-800-331-3774.

Press 1 for English/2 for Spanish [if you don't get this, don't worry, I didn't either].

Press 2 to get to the AtWT poll.

Then press 1 to tell them you want the storyline to continue.

You know, that Procter & Gamble is even giving some bullshit organization like the American Family Association the time of day makes me inclined to boycott their entire company. That's right...I'M SQUEEZING THE CHARMIN.

Seriously, the AFA didn't give a fuck about soap operas before the Luke/Noah storyline. If they did, they'd have overwhelmed themselves with protests against the 400 tawdry plots soaps rip through every week.

Someone needs to warn Brothers & Sisters to watch out.

I've been dialing all night, even though I disagree with the necessity for the poll's existence to begin with. I also used the AFA's own form e-mail to send to an e-mail to P&G telling them to keep up the good gay work.

Seriously, though, I thought the MAIN issue that the majority of Christians have with homosexuality is that they want it far from the children (like you decent average God squader, not the fanatics). WHAT KIND OF PARENT IS LETTING THEIR KIDS WATCH SOAP OPERAS?!

Yeah, whatever, this whole thing just bothers me.
