paddington bear heads for hollywood
According to Yahoo!News:
Dear Hollywood - Don't screw the pooch on this, a-wipes! Paddington Bear was my childhood literary hero. (He was part of a trifecta of illustrated idols, along with Lyle Lyle the Crocodile and Madeline.) I'm cringing at the "live-action family comedy" description. A CGI'd Paddington makes me want to cry. I'm sad that two-dimensional animation is now seemingly defunct. Thanks a lot, Toy Story! (Kidding. I loves me some Toy Story.)
Paddington Bear, a teddy in a duffle coat who loves marmalade sandwiches and has impeccable manners, is the latest character from a children's book to head for Hollywood aiming at movie stardom.
