I will never ever ever have the wherewithal to participate in NaNoWriMo. This seems vaguely more doable, lol.

I think I've decided to do that too. I'm confused, though: do you have to blog exclusively at the site or will it update itself once you've posted on your own LJ?

You only have to blog on their site if you don't have your own blog set up yet. Otherwise, you can post in your LJ.
